Welcome to FLSTAR – Government Investment Pools created by Local Governments for Local Governments.
Maintaining fiscal responsibility, liquidity and competitive investment returns are critical challenges for local governments. As a result, the Florida Short Term Asset Reserve (“FLSTAR”) Board of Trustees partnered with financial services leaders to leverage their resources and experience in investing public funds to create the FLSTAR government investment pools.
FLSTAR is powered by HilltopSecurities and J.P. Morgan Asset Management, two nationally recognized firms with a proven track record in government investment pool management. The FLSTAR Government and Prime Funds offer Florida cities, counties, school districts and other public entities the tools to achieve security, liquidity and efficiency in their management of public funds.
